SylvanSport and Make-A-Wish Announce Partnership to Grant Youth Camping Wishes
Children with critical illnesses and camping dreams can now experience the GO camping trailer.
Brevard, NC – November 29, 2022 – SylvanSport, the Brevard, NC-based maker of award-winning and innovative camping trailers, rooftop tents, and outdoor gear with a mission to make outdoor adventure accessible, proudly announces their formal partnership with Make-A-Wish Central & Western North Carolina (MAWCWNC). Children with camping dreams and critical illnesses will now have a pop-up camper option equipped with the SylvanSport GO camping trailer. The partnership launched in September after SylvanSport’s first wish recipient, Annie, brought the brand and its GO camping trailer to the attention of MAWCWNC staff. The 9-year-old Brevard child suffers from congenital heart disease and dreamed of going camping at the beach with her family in a GO camping trailer so MAWCWNC and SylvanSport joined forces to make Annie’s wish come true.
The GO camping trailer, dubbed as “the Coolest. Camper. Ever.”, was SylvanSport’s first camping towable and has been manufactured since 2004. It comfortably seats and sleeps four or more persons, has capacity and space to haul cargo and gear, and is an easy-to-use and lightweight option for families who want to explore the outdoors.
