No thanks. I would rather not participate in rating.
We bought our GO in the summer of 2020 and have hauled it with our minivan to campgrounds from the Florida Keys to Cape Breton. We wish it had an odometer so we’d know how many thousands of miles it has traveled. It has kept us warm and dry (with the help of our awesome cloud sleep systems) when necessary and has been a great conversation starter with other campers. Sylvan Sport customer service has been wonderful when we’ve needed them, but everything about the GO is so well designed and sturdy that those occasions have been rare.
We bought a SylvanSport Go Big, late last summer, and given our falls and winters spent 2 nights in it before putting it away in out of the weather storage for the winter. We loved it, and the easy setup. My wife and I are 81 and 77 respectively and found it easy to tow, put up, and take down. Our only issue with the trailer itself is there is no hand grip/rail to hold onto going up the steps and down, and the steps are rather steep. When we first set it up, we noticed the corner windows particularly were yellowed and cracked in places. Also, 2 of the mattress bags were torn and the tarp was backordered. We received the tarp quickly as well as the new bags. We were notified that some of their tents had defective windows and that we had the option of replacing the tent right away with the same tent or getting one without the corner windows which were the problem with ours, in the spring. we chose the latter, and received the new tent a couple of weeks ago. Their customer service is excellent. We replaced the tent today, and it wasn’t difficult, as we and my friend who turned us on to SylvanSport Go had watched the video several times. The written directions are poorly written. Downloading the video was not obvious but I figured it out and got it on my laptop as an MP-4 file. Where we did the tent swap does not have Internet so getting it on my laptop was necessary. SylvanSport should provide an easy download link. This why I gave it 4 stars. We look forward to using the Go soon. Despite the issues we had, it’s a great tent trailer.
We've only had ours for one camping night. We stayed in Asheville campgrounds after picking it up in Brevard. Was impressed with how well it is built. Camper has good space for what we wanna do. If you can afford the air mattress upgrade that is highly recommended for comfortable sleep. We are so glad to have our new camper. Let the adventure begin!!
