HOW TO ADD ELECTRICITY TO YOUR GO

HOW TO ADD ELECTRICITY TO YOUR GO

If you are wanting to add power to your GO you have a few options.

Option 1: YOU CAN ADD OUR SUNNY SIDE UP SOLAR KIT FOR OFF THE GRID POWER.

We’ve partnered with GoalZero to create our Sunny Side Up Solar Kit. This includes everything you need to camp off grid including the solar panel. battery, cables, mounting hardware, and an LED light. You can learn more about the kit here. With a 50 watt Goal Zero solar panel mounted to the upper rack of the GO, on quick release brackets and a Goal Zero Solar Generator mounted to a battery tray in your front storage Pod… GO is constantly charging the solar system. Arrive at your destination, set-up camp and your GO has ample power and lighting, with the Goal Zero LED, for hours and hours. This fully integrated power solution is perfect for a GO Adventure

Option 2: IF YOU ARE AT A CAMPSITE WITH ELECTRICAL HOOK UP, YOU CAN Run AN EXTENSION CORD AND A POWER STRIP INSIDE YOUR GO

Many campgrounds have electrical hook ups at the campsites, so you can add a drop cord and a power strip to your GO camping kit. That will allow you to add as much power to your GO as you want for running things like a small fan, charging phones, or even powering a refrigerated cooler.

HERE'S ONE WAY TO RUN A DROP cord INTO THE GO

The tent is connected to the back wall of the GO with velcro, so you can easily run a drop cord inside and secure the velcro around it to keep bugs out. Then you can add a power strip to give you all the power you need. We recommend bringing along a longer drop cord about 8 feet or longer to make sure you have adequate length from the electrical outlet to the GO.  By putting the cord in in this place, it is out of your way and in a convenient place for using the table.
