It is listed on the label affixed to the trailer tongue and will be listed on the Title document and Bill of Sale. d. Title: Document that proves you are the owner of the trailer. e. Recall Clearance Letter: A document that states there are no outstanding recalls associated with the GO. This is necessary for importation.
b. In-Transit Permit: Check with your local licensing office to determine if you will need an In-Transit Permit. Some provinces require this permit for transporting a trailer until it has been registered. This permit is only applicable for travel within 1. After picking up your trailer you will drive to the border crossing and declare the newly purchase trailer. For importing motorized vehicles, U.S. Customs requires 72 hours notice.
